That’s right, we have a physical, bricks and mortar shop to complement our shiny new online store. Here’s an update.
We recently launched our shiny new online store, bringing you the best beer from around the world, direct to your door (this is where you are now).
However, you may or may not be aware (depending if you’re following us on Twitter andFacebook) that we will also soon be opening a physical, bricks and mortar shop. And to say we’re excited about this would be the understatement of the decade. So we thought we’d give you the very brief lowdown on what to expect:
Where: 28 Hildreth Street, Balham, London, SW12 9RQ
When: Our opening date is still tbc (watch this space) but we’re working on an early August opening
What: The We Brought Beer shop will be selling around 150 different craft beers from the UK and beyond. We’ve already lined up loads of interesting American beers that are not previously available to buy in London and we’re planning to keep the range fresh with regular updates. In addition to all these beers we’ll also be packing in as much homebrew stuff as we can fit (it’s only a small space sadly).
We’ll also be lining up regular beer tastings, meet the brewers and are really keen to build a homebrewers community around the shop. And although it’s still an idea in progress, we’re hoping to be able offer homebrew courses & tutorials.
The shop is currently being fitted out and we’re really excited to bring our designs to life.
Staff: As with all shops, we’ll obviously need some staff. As such, we are currently recruiting for a full time member of staff who can work as a duty manager in the shop. They’ll be responsible for managing the day to day operation of the shop – stock taking, ordering etc. as well as running tastings and events within the shop. Ideally they’ll obviously have a passion for craft beer and a desire to ignite the craft beer passion of our customers.
If you’re interested in applying or perhaps you know the right candidate for this role, please drop an email over to jobs(at)webroughtbeer.co.uk with a CV and covering letter stating why you’re the right person for the job.
Keep an eye on our twitter and facebook for more updates on the shop and do get in touch if you have any ideas on how we can make this London’s best beer shop.
