This weeks new arrival is mostly about one brewery – Cantillon. These guys are one of the most well-regarded breweries in the world and when their beers make their way over to the UK, there’s a pretty big scramble to buy them before they all sell out! This time round we have five of their beers in different size bottles across the three shops – Gueuze, Iris, Lou Pepe Framboise, Fou Foune and their Kriek. Unfortunately, these are all super limited, and so we can’t take reservations, and purchases are limited to one of each individual beer. These are some of our favourite beers that we’re always incredibly excited to be able to stock, and so if you’re interested, get down quickly, because these normally sell out in hours!
Following on from Wednesday nights The Kernel Meet the Brewer, we’ve got some very cool new beers in from the Bermondsey guys. In large 750ml bottle format, we’ve got a blend of their Biere de Saison aged in Burgundy barrels, as well as a slightly different version in 330ml bottles – also returning is their Biere de Saison Citra in 750ml. Also, incredibly exciting is the release of their Imperial Stout, barrel aged in red wine and whiskey barrels along with brettanomyces. Everyone who was at our event last night can confirm, these are incredible!
Also from London, we’ve gotten our hands on the newly re-branded Redchurch Brewery beers! We’ve got these guys coming down to our Balham store in a few weeks time and so we thought we’d better get in the beers coming out of their new facility! From these guys, we’ve ordered in Bethnal Pale, Great Eastern IPA and Shoreditch Blonde, as well as a keg of their Paradise Pale. Over the coming months we’ll be getting more sour and wild beers from these guys so make sure to keep an eye on them!
Finally, we’e got the Stone Brewery Russian Imperial Stout into the stores. In all honesty, this is one of the greatest of its style, and we can not recommend it enough!
